Whether you make a recurring or one-time donation, collect food, or volunteer on an event committee, your contribution helps strengthen our community. Your donations directly support LifeWorks' food programs, family services, immigrant services, and our mission to empower individuals and families to achieve self-sufficiency.

Neighbors Can Help

  • Help us feed the neighborhood! Food drives bring variety to the LifeWorks Pantry. They also help us provide personal care items and cleaning supplies, which are often difficult to obtain.

    LifeWorks has put together a Resource Guide to help you execute a successful food drive. Please click here to download our food drive kit. In addition, you may download social media posts here to help promote your drive. Before you get started, please call LifeWorks at 518-288-3206 to find out what kinds of donations are most needed.

  • You can also donate food through our Amazon Wish List.

  • Want to make a big impact? Challenge your friends, family or neighbors to make a difference. Proceeds from a neighborhood garage sale or community movie night can be donated to LifeWorks Community Action while also raising awareness about the programs provided here.

  • Your time is valuable. We offer a wide range of opportunities that can work with a variety of schedules.

  • Have an item from our Wish List shipped directly to LifeWorks Community Action. This is an easy way to provide support. You can also support the mission by selecting LifeWorks Community Action as your charity of choice on Amazon Smile.

Corporations Can Help

  • Offering regular volunteers for a few hours each month, or for help with a big project like unloading a food delivery, makes a big difference. Reach out to the LifeWorks volunteer coordinator at volunteedesk@lifeworksaction.org to see how we can work together for our community.
